Azwihangwisi Nematswerani Foundation hosted its first
football tournament on the 20th and 21st December 2022 at
Khubvi Benjie’s Ground in Limpopo Province. Congratulations to Mailausumbwa FC,
who were crowned Champions after defeating Tshimuthe FC on penalty shoot-out.
The aim of the football tournament is to discover talented
upcoming soccer players from rural communities, with some assistance from
soccer scouts to place them for trials on leagues such as Motsepe Foundation
Championship and DSTV Premier League.
